I also have this in a light green for the basement, but I have this on a primary console. It get's compliments, and I play records nearly every day for a bit and I haven't had a problem with this version in either color I have. I own a slate-colored one, which has been holding up beautifully since I got it! It's small, portable, and has great sound quality when playing vinyl without headphones. There are so many color options, and while some are worse than others, most are great! At first, it was too big to fit in my shelving unit, but then I unscrewed the base stands from the bottom and it fit perfectly. Most recently when I went to plug it in, it started smoking out the top! Please be careful! I still got a good two years and some change out of it, just please be mindful from time to time.
