For more than fifteen years Wilco has been one of the most critically-acclaimed bands on the planet, with a devoted fan base eager to follow them down whichever creative roads they pursue. The band’s seventh studio album Wilco (the album) was released in July 2009 and combines the sonic experimentation of previous albums like Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (2002) and A Ghost Is Born (2004) with the laid back beauty found on Sky Blue Sky (2007).

The current incarnation of Wilco has been playing together since 2004. Their consistently crowd-pleasing live performances have been captured on two releases, the 2005 cd/digital release Kicking Television: Live In Chicago and the 2009 DVD Wilco Live: Ashes Of American Flags.
