The Modest Cowboy CD Point Cloud is a surprise. The best description was delivered by lead vocalist Brooke Palmer during a radio interview when he described the sound as the “love child resulting from a union of Buck Owens and David Gilmour”. Country and Western meets Pink Floyd. The sound and content is thoughtful, atmospheric and broody – with a mildly hypnotic groove.

Imagine a long drive... moving down a two lane highway. You know the kind.. where you watch for the glow of headlights pointing skyward as a vehicle crests an approaching hill. There's a light mist in the air. Your windshield wipers squeak because there isn't quite enough moisture, but just enough to smear the glass and put your world into star filter. You love this drive, being alone, out of the city. You're listening to the Modest Cowboys. There's something mildly hypnotic about the music.
